Blah [01 Jan 2005|06:36pm]
Feel terrible, have a HUGE hangover.

Why do you always feel horny when you have a hangover?

Have spent the evening posting naked pictures of myself on various LJ communities :-)

Going to have tea, and clear up the flat and fuck Alf senseless later and take photos of our bits :-)

Just because.

News.... [31 Dec 2004|04:22pm]
Am a little stressed right now.

I have recently found out that after 15 years of being told I can't/shouldn't have kids it is likely I might be able to have a baby!

This, amongst other things (which ) am not going to talk about), has brought up some weird discussions and two mindnesses in our household both from me and Alf and our friends.

I wrote to my doctor to ask him about it and he booked me an appointment at the hospital to discuss stuff with him in 2 weeks. Pretty good going as there is a waiting list to see him of six months.

Which means he is either excited about the whole 'experiment' (which it will be to the Cardiology Unit) and concerned about my health or that he is going to flat out refuse and say I shouldn't which is a bit of a problem as me and Alfie haven't been using anything for a month already.

Although Alf doth jokingly protest about having a 'hobbit' he seems quietly excited about the idea.

Anyway, for me really here are my few Resolutions :-)

1. Lose more weight particulary if I am thinking of getting 'up the duff'.
2. Go to dancing religiously every week, even if I have period pains and it's raining.
3. Drink less Beer and only drink Marston 'Resolution' as its got less calories and doesn't give me a headache.
4. Play with Luci at least two hours a day as she is getting a bit jealous of the other ratties (see next entry).
5. Teach just_becky to dance.
6. Write an Ebook with just_becky

Can't think of anymore really at the mo.

[ mood | cheerful ]

Can't sleep, tummy aching. Bah.
Need more sleep :-)

Gonna sit and watch crap american comedy and turn some of our photos into black and white ones for printing :-)

Have to go to town later and arrange money for holiday, been a bit busy and it kind of slipped my mind, err.

Also have vouchers to spend on stuff we need, yay!

All we have in our cupboards for breakfast is about 10 tubes of left over pringles and some wedding cake, which is no good for Alf as he is allergic to it and I don't like fruit cake.

Pringles and a cup of tea it is then :-)

See ya laters

MAJOR UPDATE... [03 Nov 2004|12:03am]
[ mood | Phewee! ]

Hello everyone, Whats been happening in the last few weeks? Well...
Re poorly ratties...
Lilo died, after about two weeks of one minute being fine and happy and bouncy to having small seizures.
She gave up in the end and after a very bad attack she had a long cuddle with me, went to bed and died in her sleep. Which was a nice way for her to go as she had never had to go to the vets and she would have had been upset.

Oh, and the Major news....

We had a really great day and evening and everything went well, and everyone was sooooo lovely :-)
Thanks to just_becky for ferrying around the Groom and best man and gerally being a fabulous friend and surrogate sister :-) HUGS!

Oh and also for singing 'Tribute' by Tenacious D in a very drunken state in front of lots of people in the pub at the evening party :-) WE ROCK!

Anyway, photos are at http://nadine.fotopic.net/c330453.html

My Dad took these, see if you can spot which ones were before the wedding (the ones where Alf is crapping himself and looking stiff).

Love the silly bugger lots and lots and am very happy.

Will hopefully have less stress now and can just enjoy being together instead of always preparing for a wedding.

Off the Vienna, Prague and Budapest on Monday

Sad but expected... [29 Sep 2004|07:21pm]
[ mood | melancholy ]

Alf got home from work earlier and as I was making tea I thought I would check to see if the rats were okay as Lilo wasn't doing her 'Ooh Mummy, what are you cooking for me' jumping up and down begging.

She was sat on the bottom of the cage and jumped backwards when I went to pick her up.

I immediatley took her out only to find she has suffered a stroke (pretty common in old ratties) and is quite limp, and her eyesight has been affected.

I don't think she will last the next 48 hours and think Alf might have to take her to the vets tomorrow and say goodbye :-(

Anyone who has been to my house in the last 2 1/2 years knows Lilo as the manic, friendly bouncey Pirat'. She never stops bouncing around and chasing things and biting Alfs socks.

Today is the first day we have ever got her to sit still for more than a minute; though in sad circumstances.

Alf has fallen asleep now with Lilo on his chest, she looks peaceful and clicks her teeth now and then but its not Lilo :-( He was telling her how much he loved her earlier and was whispering to her about yogurt drops and gravy and beer and ice cream :-)

I am hoping she goes before he wakes up.

I took a photo as she is one of my best friends and we will miss her very much.

I have moved her sister Luci into a smaller cosy cage, she knows there is something going on :-(

We love you Lilo.

Passports [28 Sep 2004|03:28pm]
[ mood | aggravated ]

Thanks for the offer to drive me to Newport hun. I think I will do the Post Office fast track thing, they guarantee it for two weeks. Though, if it doesn't come then we may have to go to Newport anyway.

I guess it should be okay anyway now the holiday season is over.

Nade : trying to calm down.

Still fed up with Taxidermists.

Isn't guarantee a funny word? Wonder what it originates from?

Okay calm down [28 Sep 2004|01:30pm]
[ mood | worried ]

Just balls up getting our Passports done. Alf has gone over the border, Tom can't sign for us as he doesn't have his passport number on him.

I have just bit my nicely growing nails off in frustration, bah!

I am sooo worried we aren't gonna get our passports in time for the honeymoon.

Whats your experience with the Post Office check and send, do they take 2 weeks like they promise?

Oh, BTW just_becky do you want me to use the money from your eBay stuff to book a hotel room for your for the wedding night (Monday 1st Nov?) I thought it might be easier.

You have a choice of the Hotel Alfs parents are staying in or the Hotel in drunken Roller blading distance from our house and the pub. :-)

Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh, sorry, I am having an outburst.

Grrrr [28 Sep 2004|11:42am]
[ mood | distressed ]

The week hasn't been odd so far...

Friday: I got drunk and set my defib off (not good).

Saturday: went strangely but my new boots arrived (Demonia 6 inch heels, yum) and I did have lunch with my Mum and Dad (which was nice). Had lots of pervy fab sex (wearing said boots, until 3am.

Sunday: woke up with another shag :-)
Went to DIY store and ASDA and totally worn out, went a bed with headache.

Monday: Woke up feeling terrible, couldn't go to work :-( Dicky palpitations and sickly. Fell asleep most of day on Bean bag sofa, whilst Alf played a strange Japanese puzzle game ALL day. I played a bit of the Hobbit and watched 'Moonlighting' on ABC1. Looks really cheesy now but it was still funny. I even remembered all the theme tune. Ha :-D

Tuesday: today, alarm that was set for 7am didn't go off! Woke up went postie came at 9.37am! ARGH!!! Got to woke and have found some letters I wrote have culminated in the revelation of some drastic mistakes by our licensing team and now I have to sort it all out. Grrr, bloody taxidermists.

Rant over, go back to sleep.

Okay, so I am crap... [28 Sep 2004|11:06am]
[ mood | stressed ]

I admit it.
Been so bad at writing in here lately, as I said to the lovely cujosmurf the other day I am thinking of giving up LJ.

I never seem to have anything to write.

Sometimes I think 'why the hell would anyone read that', other days just think 'this is boring, there is no point writing that'.

I guess I talk about, but don't talk enough, if you know what I mean.

I am afraid the pre wedding thing is off, as I really can't afford to go anywhere at the mo, and just haven't got time. I am worn out as it is. :-(

To be honest at the mo I am only looking foward to the wedding as it means three weeks off work and a holiday away.

I know Alf wouldn't mind me saying that as I think he is feeling the same way.

I wish we had just done a quick wedding with only me and him; some how I don't think our mothers would have been to pleased though.

Still I am writing in here, look at me :-)

Righto [20 Aug 2004|10:08pm]
Just a quickie as I might need to have a quick shower and go and help Alf out at the pub in a mo. They are busy and my services are needed :-)

As I mentioned in passing yesterday, I would like a favour from you folk up north.

This mainly goes out to eternaldancer, ninadelenne, sanjibabes, cujosmurf, justbecky (yes I know your from Wales Becks :-D.

Basically due to us not being able to invite most of you to the Wedding, and me not wanting a 'Hen' *shudder* night. Alf and I would like to see everyone before we finally get spliced.

Sooooo, can everyone let me know when they might be available towards the end of next month or mid October? I can't do the weekend of the 9th, 9th and 10th as I am off to the Annual Police Wildlife Crime Officers conferences in Bonny Scotland. :-)

Just seeing everyone and going out for a meal / drinkies (though remember I am on the Wagon) would be lovely. If it can't be near you lot, would London be okay?

So let me know whose up for it.

That was probably the wrong thing to say to you lot wasn't it?

Oh, fragiletender you are invited too you know :-)

scanner cannot be initialized... [19 Aug 2004|04:12pm]

Bloody work PC can't find the scanner again which means I am gonna have to reboot in a mo.

The one at home is bad enough.

If you didn't know (which I guess you wouldn't as I haven't been here so unless you are psychic that last statement was totally pointless). Well, anyway, Alf and I had a bit of a problem with the PC. It basically 'blew up' :-(

Alf lost ALL and I mean ALL his music on the hard drive. ALL 300 + Albums!

It basically had so much stuff on it it would run for four days and never play the same song twice.

All gone in a puff of smoke :-( He was most upset, poor puppy. So he is currently spending half our eBay profits on second hand CDS. *tsk*

Just a thought..if any of you oldie goths *cough* have any stuff we could copy would it be okay for us to send you some blanks?

Anyway, today hasn't been bad, sold 6 more items since last night :-) and have just got news of my wholesale jewellery coming through. Rah!

Spoke to a nice lady called Sue today who has 42 Rats! Lord knows how she copes with that lot :-D

The phone hasn't rung once and I only have a smattering of work today so I have spent quite a while surfing.

Tonight is going to be a quick whip 'round the bathroom and kitchen, maybe the hoovering. Then a long session on The Hobbit, which I have nearly finished. Then Play with the Ratties and then an early night.

Yeah right, I bet Istill don't get to bed till 2am.

Good Morning, Good Morning... um afternoon. [18 Aug 2004|12:44pm]
How come every time I get up early I still end up late for work.
I moved five minutes away from the office and I still manage to be late :-Z Baffles me.

Today it was the rain.

I stepped out of the house and someone through a large bucket of water on me, at least thats what it seemed like :-)

I won't moan though as the sun is out now and its all lovely.

Alf bumped into a friend of his from Boscastle last night. Apparently his mate is in Spain and doesn't know his house is flooded yet :-(
Oh dear.

My promise to get back on Livejournal fell apart a bit the last couple of days.

I have ben sorting myself out :-)

I have only had two bottles of Bud this week and nothing else :-)Bit of a difference from the usual three bottles of vodka a week.

I have been very productive and have been getting my eBay shop together which can be found in my next posting if any one fancies a perusal.

I got the place on the Sculpture course that I wanted which starts in September so thats Monday nights full.

Also I need to start dancing again as I haven't been for months and that starts next month too.

Its going to be a busy Autumn.

I am a bit bored at work still but Alf and I haven't given up on the idea of Devon yet so fingers crossed.

Scary, isn't it? *grin*

BOO! [11 Aug 2004|04:14pm]

Did I Scare ya?

Long time no see.

I won't go on about the disappearance this time, but it involved far too much booze, several illnesses culminating into a good six months depression etc etc.

Needless to say I am on the wagon and also on Anti-depressants and have finally found a Doctor who wants to help; they are also arranging counseling etc.

Nice to read everyones Journals again. I haven't been purposely ignoring everyone it was just hard to read other peoples when I have been too low to post on mine.

Back now though.

Bit sleepy and sitting next to a pretty Czech girl called Dasha. :-D

Alfie say hullo, hes been through the mill a bit lately too.

Whitby... [15 Apr 2004|04:41pm]
Do any of you happy Goths out there know of any Clothes places that do kids medieval/goth clothes, apart from Dark Angel? (who claim you have to order months in advance, which is stupid when how quick kids grow).

I am looking for a place that would do a dress for my bridesmaid, but I can't buy it yet as she is growing like her feet are in a tomato sack.

Looked on Ebay but the company I liked are now doing Summer coloured clothes, I need dark wine or purple.

If not please can people keep an eye out for companies at Whitby?

Tuna not Chicken. [15 Apr 2004|12:49pm]
[ mood | tired ]

Odd day yesterday, mainly due to me being rather drunk the night before.

Anyone know much about female sterilisation? Like can they do it under local anesthetic? How scary is it? Etc. One of us needs the chop, and I feel it should be me :-(

Anyway, after recovering from feeling shite all day I went out for chish and fips with Simon and talked loads. Then went back to ours and discussed rubber and new pervy clothes he and Jo have recently purchased etc.

Didn't get to bed till 3.30pm so I feel crap again :-( after rambling on with Alf about Christopher Lee being Terry Pratchetts DEATH and how and when I go I would be very happy if Mr Lee turned up to escort me off the premises.

Went to a certain overpriced sandwich shop and asked for a Chicken and Mango baguette and got made a Tuna Nicoise one. It was nice though, but a bit of a surprise when I bit into it.

Blah, I need some sleep :-#
